Providing an update on the incident through its official channel on Sunday, the state police command shared that the involved officer, a mobile policeman, was attached to a Chinese expatriate attending an event at the hotel.

According to the command, “During Bramaj Company’s end-of-year party in the hotel, a mobile policeman attached to the Chinese expatriate discharged a shot into the air. Unfortunately, the ammunition shell hit Azeez Ijaduade, an actor, in the neck.”
Actor’s Condition and Commander’s Response
The injured actor was swiftly taken to a hospital in Ilishan and is reported to be in a stable condition. Commander of Mopol 16, after contacting and visiting the actor, assured that he would be discharged soon. Additionally, the Commander personally took responsibility for Azeez Ijaduade’s medical bill.
