The Estonian slackliner and Guinness World Record holder, did a mesmerizing tightrope walk from a bank’s rooftop at Marina to the Onome Rig.
A circulated video on X, formerly Twitter, showcased Roose’s breathtaking tightrope walk across the bridge and train tracks at CMS bus-stop in Lagos, revealing his exceptional balance skills.
Observations noted that Roose initiated his audacious journey from the rooftop of a commercial bank at Marina, skillfully navigating the tightrope with a drone capturing every moment.
Jaan Roose’s Red Bull Collaboration
Ajetunmobi Ridwan Olawale, Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Lagos state governor, commented on Roose’s tightrope feat.
“It’s actually a tightrope stunt by a foreigner who wants to break a new global record. It wasn’t a self-murder mission.” Olawale clarified that Roose was brought to Lagos by Red Bull to attempt the record.
Jubril Gawat, another aide of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, shed light on Red Bull’s ambitious goal, stating on his verified X page: “Red Bull is trying to get the Perfect Lagos Selfie with Jaan Roose from Sterling Towers, Marina Lagos to the Onome Rig.”
