The Football Association (FA) is investigating Arsenal in their last match against Bournemouth.
The Gunners who currently top the Premier League table bust into jubilation and celebrations following their dramatic comeback win against Bournemouth last Saturday.
Mikel Arteta’s men went two goals down to the relegation-threatened side after 60 minutes at the Emirates.
But the Gunners fought back. Goals from Thomas Partey, Benjamin White and the last gasp winner from Reiss Nelson ensured Arsenal claimed maximum points.
The last-gasp goal sparked chaotic scenes, with members of the Arsenal coaching staff and substitutes running onto the pitch to join in the celebrations.
It has now emerged that referee Chris Kavanagh included the incident in his post-match report which he submitted to the FA.
Now, the English game’s governing body is now looking into what happened as a matter of course.
