In a significant development at the Magistrate’s Court in Yaba, Lagos State, musician, Naira Marley , and Lagos socialite Sam Larry , were granted bail on Monday.
The court set their bail amount at N20 million, accompanied by three responsible sureties.
Naira Marley whose real name is Azeez Fashola, and Sam Larry with official name Balogun Eletu, alongside two others had been arraigned and remanded in custody on October 6. This is in connection with the tragic death of musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad .
Naira Marley Bail Conditions
Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun, presiding over the case, issued specific bail conditions for the defendants. As part of their bail terms, they are required to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.
Olatunbosun went on to emphasized that no one should attempt to contact her directly regarding the case. She made it clear that any such attempts would be duly recorded and potentially disclosed during open court proceedings.
