Matthew Perry , one of the stars of popular 90’s TV series ‘Friends’ has died.
According to TMZ, Law enforcement sources found the actor on Saturday at an L.A.-area home where they were told he appears to have drowned.
First-responders had initially rushed over on a call for cardiac arrest. It’s unclear where exactly on the grounds this happened. More details however revealed that Matthew Perry actually died in his own house after a round of playing pickleball.
According to TMZ, Matthew came home sometime in the morning after a 2-hour round of pickleball. He then sent his assistant on an errand. By the time the assistant returned, he found Perry unresponsive and called 911.
Matthew Perry, the Canadian American actor is most famous for playing l Chandler Bing on the popular sitcom Friends. The show ran for 10 season and Perry was in every one of 234 episodes. His character was a fan favorite, as was his performance.

Matthew Perry also appeared in several other TV shows over the years. Some of which include ‘Boys Will Be Boys,’ ‘Growing Pains,’ ‘Silver Spoons,’ ‘Charles in Charge,’ ‘Sydney,’ ‘Beverly Hills, 90210,’ ‘Home Free,’ ‘Ally McBeal,’ ‘The West Wing,’ ‘Scrubs,’ ‘Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,’ ‘Go On,’ ‘The Odd Couple’ and more.
He had also acted in a handful of memorable films (mostly comedy) … like ‘Fools Rush In,’ ‘The Whole Nine Yards,’ ‘Three to Tango,’ ‘The Kid,’ ’17 Again,’ ‘Getting In,’ and many others. He’s been off the scene more recently … not having acted since a TV mini series in 2017.
Despite his affable onscreen persona, Perry battled addiction to drugs and painkillers, notably Vicodin, throughout his years, even during his time on ‘Friends’.
